Target killings :(

Today i was standing on the roof, the two roads were too busy as usual at that time three men on bike were killed by two unknown men in front of my eye and they fell on the road in bloody condition, and suddenly the crowd began gather there and that moment is captured in my eye. This is 1st time i saw this type of regestae/event in my life but we listen everyday about target killings...

Targeted killings in Karachi nowadays put a tons of quotions in my minds and also possible the rest of the country people's minds whether they made the right choice three years ago by selecting the current government. People in Karachi are now reluctant/Inconstancy to come out of their homes in fear of being targeted and there are areas in Karachi such as Johar and Kati Pahari, liyari etc and where even staying at one’s own home is not safe. I feel sad about the future of Pakistan when I see blood lying on the streets like water. When i see stains of dried blood on the streets that no one cleans,I fear that when I leave my house, I will also get murdered and my blood will also be left abandoned on the streets and my parents are also in fear whenever i am not in home. Usually men are killed so the family is left without any earning member. its mean one men is not killed the whole family are killed by the unknown guy.we have a long way to go become humans first. Enough said!.
Targeted killing: a new face of terrorism nowadays very commonly being seen in Pakistan – has not only hoisted the position of Pakistan in the ranking of the most dangerous countries of the world but has a great impact on the living style of the citizens.Targeted killing has affected the society and the common people in one way or the other. There is an increase in the number of disabled people, social life has been affected because people are scared to leave their houses and there is a decline in the economic growth of the country..
Life is very precious for every living being. It is said by the creator himself that killing one human is like killing the entire humanity. All the individuals involved in targeted killings are neither human nor animal because even animals don’t go around killing each other the way these cold-blooded murderers kill their fellow beings. In Pakistan, the so-called political leaders kill their opponents just to keep their supremacy/piriority and power and secret. This practice is neither pollitically acceptable nor is it human. We should cry out against targeted killings and the government should take strong action to stop it and punish all those involved....
Targeted killings have affected our life really badly. People are uncertain about their lives whenever they are out of their houses, may it be to go for work or just to the corner shop to get your cell phone account recharged. They always fear becoming a victim of targeted killing. Whenever I am out for university or any other places, my parents always gets tense, if they sees any news about “halat kharab” in the city. The government needs to take serious action so that this can be bought to an end and the citizens of Karachi can live a secure life.

Targeted killing is indeed the worst gift we have got in the past few years, but honestly speaking, the people of Karachi were never affected nor they are worried today. And this applies to the entire nation and to all the living deads in the world.
For a man who lives off daily wages, targeted killing has become the reason of starvation. Every day, he has to go to work to earn food for his family but the threat of being killed by a stray bullet stops him from doing so. This has caused many families to starve and live a life of constant fear.
There would be exceptions but overall common people have become unharmed to targeted killings by ‘unidentified people’. One of the reasons is that common people are too obsessed with their own problems such as load shedding, inflation, struggle to get CNG etc. Besides, they have already witnessed widespread killings on the basis of sects, ethnicities. So, now for them ‘ignorance is bliss'. The news of targeted killings is just ordinary news for them. As in the words of Ghalib,
(“Hota hai shab o roz tamasha mairay agay”) (The drama takes place daily before me).
The impact of targeted killings on the people is too much. It does not merely affect the victim’s family but also leaves an very Bad mark on the society at large. People are compelled to stay indoors for fear of being caught in a cross-fire or sporadic firing. But the question is how long can one continue to live in a state of ‘house arrest’.
I think it’s the most vile thing that people can come up with. Not only does it have personal and social consequences, it even has political and economic effects. Taking the example of Karachi, it is known to be Pakistan’s economic hub. If we lose people and there are law and order problems in the city, we lose a percentage of our daily turnover resulting in economic loss. On a more personal and social level, families lose their bread-winners, loved ones, etc. And the worst part is that they’re pointless killings just a result of extreme emotions,Targeted killings have affected the lives of the citizens of Karachi so much that they are scared of even getting out of their homes. Innocent civilians are killed every day, because of ethnic and political violence in the city. This needs to be ended and government must take serious actions to protect the citizens of Karachi. However, the government has utterly failed to do this so far.
People are now scared to feel free. They don’t know from where the next bullet would come. Life isn’t safe anymore. Everyone’s a victim, sadly.
Don’t analyze, just look for a solution to the problem that is simple. In most of targeted killings, in fact in all of them, one political party is acting against the other. The government should catch hold of the so-called leaders who are calling the shots and behind targeted killings and hang them in public. This will be a lesson so that no one else dares to order these murders. Then there will no more traumas and people would be able to live in peace like they did 15 years ago, which was not so long ago in Pakistan.....

  1. Hm right until unless we know, since the beginning of 2010 and from previous years that Karachi has faced the worst experience of the phenomenon of target killing. Until now, no one knows who is behind these incidents and what the real agenda is.
